Feb. 13th, 2020 12:57 amlmao I found about the PC port right after I finished recording Furutsugu's route and while I was writing a post about it agfdghfdh I don't regret doing it tho. I'm just not sure what to do now. I mean, I was eyeing some of Furutsugu's stories from the fandisc and considering buying them, even though the idea feels kinda silly now that the game will disappear in a month. But still, I want to read them. And the ones I want are like 1 usd each.
I felt kinda uneasy tho because I wasn't going to buy all of them, and I felt bad about the rest getting lost forever. but now I know that someone saved them and is going to release them at some point, and the relief is real lol I might still get a couple of them tho. not sure, still considering it, but I really feel like reading them now so I'm tempted ngl
aaaaand back to the port. this really is the coolest fucking thing, holy shit. not sure when it'll happen, because as I mentioned Scarlet Fate is not the kind of story I feel like playing at this point in my life lol, but finally I'll be able to read the routes I'm missing... especially Kuso's. I've wanted to play that route for years, because I'm a sucker for ~arranged marriage turns into real feelings~, and everyone I've seen in the wild who has played his game loves Kuso/says the route is great. I remember I actually started his route on the free version of the game, but stopped in the 3rd chapter because I had to read the whole common part AGAIN with the ticket system... I just couldn't cope withe the situation lmao
but for real, reading one of those routes in the free version sure was something. for most free otome games, reading a route usually takes around 2 weeks (without using extra tickets). but Scarlet Fate+? I read Gentoka's route there and it took me more than a month. I don't remember exactly how long, maybe a month and a half? idk, but it was wild. this story really wasn't made for that system and it fucking shows, Christ
I'm also fond of the other LIs, but because of these circumstances, I didn't want to look or think much about them lol
